Aluir Amancio is missing. Any chance we might send out The Spirit to track him down? Heck, the future of the DC comic might depend on it.

The Spirit #17 is one of my favorite single issues of the year. Evanier and Aragones are at the top of their game with an inventive, humorous, multi-layered story. But the star of the show is Amancio, who is sensational from one end of the tale to the other.
